What we look at
Each starter review is based on the public product page: the stated page types, the stack, update notes, sales counts when the listing showed them, and the price when it was visible. The check date for this set is October 31, 2026.
We do not republish marketplace star ratings. The fit score is an editorial number from 1 to 10 for how well that template matches the job in the “best for” line. A high score with a narrow job can still be the wrong buy for a different job.
We do not hotlink demo screenshots. The panels on review pages are placeholders with room for captures you have the right to publish. Demo photography inside a template is not yours to reuse on a client site unless the license says so.
What we leave alone
We have not profiled JavaScript weight, run every contact script, or counted files inside a zip. Where a listing is thin, the review says so and tells you to decide from the live demo. Where a product name collides with a WordPress theme or another marketplace item, the product ID is the identifier that matters.
Affiliate links
Some outbound buttons can be affiliate links. They are marked, they use rel="sponsored" once an affiliate ID is configured, and they sit after the verdict. Until that ID is added in the config file, the button opens the ordinary product page. Details are on the affiliate disclosure.
